Let us get acquainted. Here’s a little bit about me.

Bio.

Digital Marketer. Philanthropist. Entrepreneur. Consultant, Speaker. I wear many hats and I strive to wear them well. Born in Kingston, Jamaica, I am an Island girl who has always had an innate desire to and ability to connect with people. My passion for diversity and inclusion coupled with my creative, strategic thinking and love of storytelling, has led me to be a powerful influence on corporate and organizational structure.

I am a graduate of Florida State University with a degree in Communication. My early in career endeavors included positions at MTV Networks and Bad Boy Entertainment while moonlighting in the non-profit segment as a Marketing and Volunteer Coordinator for a NYC-based charity for at-risk youth. In 2012 I left the media and entertainment industry and ventured into Advertising sales. In 2015, after nearly 4 years at Kirshenbaum Bond Senecal 7 Partners (kbs+) working on the BMW Account, I accepted a sales position at Microsoft Advertising as a Display Advertising Account Manager. In 2018 I progressed out of sales into Global Operations managing product Go to Market strategy for the US, Latin America and Canada all while serving as a leader in the Diversity & Inclusion space.

In addition to a thriving career in the corporate sector, I pride myself on being a multi-hyphenate social entrepreneur. I am the CEO/Owner of Caption-It! App – a mobile app designed to provide captions and quotes for social media posting and sharing. In addition, I am Co-Founder of &Noire – an e-commerce website created to increase visibility and profit to black-owned brands. When I am not closing business deals, I am a Public Speaker who gives lectures and workshops around the subjects of Empowerment, Brand Development, Diversity & Inclusion and Philanthropy. From colleges to corporations, I am on a journey of spreading inspiration and empowerment globally.

Business asides, I have a passion for traveling and for giving back. I am the Founder and Executive Director of The Star Boutique, Inc. - a nonprofit organization that supports teenage girls in New York City who are affected by homelessness. Through the Star Boutique, my team and I have changed the lives of several hundreds of girls and have been recognized in local, national and international media for our efforts. Annually, I combine both of my passions by traveling to Kenya to engage in community work with underprivileged youth and struggling small business owners. I prided myself on being a visionary – someone who lives their dreams in real life and I dedicate time to consult and coach up and coming techies, and entrepreneurs.
